How can I check the number of users for licensing purposes?

The Adaxes license is issued for the number of enabled and not expired user accounts in Active Directory. To check the number of enabled and not expired user accounts in all managed Active Directory domains:

  • Launch the Adaxes Administration Console.

  • In the Console Tree, right-click your Adaxes service and click Properties.

  • In the Licensing section, the total number of all enabled and not expired user accounts in managed AD domains is displayed.

If you don't want to manage some user accounts using Adaxes and thus save costs for your license, you can exclude such accounts from the list of managed accounts. For this purpose, click Restrict and select user accounts you want to exclude. Selected accounts will not be displayed in Adaxes environment and will be ignored during license validation.
