I am attempting to give some users rights to modify the report that is scheduled such as to add additional users or remove users or even move the report to a different schedule. I granted the following but still get errors when modifying the report:

I tested granting the permissions to the user and a group and set the scope as configuration items. It didn't work either way. How can i grant the rights to just modify the scheduled reports?

Thank you for your help!

Hello Mark,

Yes, it is possible. To grant the permissions:

  1. Launch Adaxes Administration console.
  2. In the Console Tree, right-click your service node.
  3. In the context menu, navigate to New and click Security Role. image.png
  4. On step 2 of the Create Security Role wizard, click the down arrow embedded into the Add button and then click Manage Report Schedule. image.png
  5. Click Next.
  6. Click Add. image.png
  7. Select the users and groups whom you want to assign the permissions to. image.png
  8. Click Finish twice.
  9. Finally, the security role should look like the following: image.png

Thank you! Worked great!

Using the powershell module, I know how to create a scheduled task, and also how to bind to a scheduled task that is already known. I also have used code to try creating ... same time as another. These are all one-time tasks and will be removed once executed.

Currently, when I disable a user account in Adaxes, the group memberships of the user remain intact. I'd like to automate the removal of group memberships such as distribution ... a list of groups/DL that the user was previously in and removed from. Thanks!
