Hello Adaxes Team I have recently installed the new version Adaxes 2023, which offers many new features. Unfortunately, there is no real progress with the approval process. The feature "Reason for execution of operation sent for approval" has been on the roadmap for a while, but it is still not been implemented yet. When requesting an authorization, it is impossible to understand why something is needed without this information. This leads to users having to consult with the requester over and over again. It would also be very helpful if this information is available later in the audit log.

I don't see any way to create this feature myself, as the approval emails cannot be customized. It would be extremely helpful if at least in the body of the emails an additional text per request could be added.

Will there be any improvements in approvals in the foreseeable future? Or is there a workaround for this?

Thanks and regards pudong

Hello,

Will there be any improvements in approvals in the foreseeable future?

There is currently no ETA for the feature. However, it will definitely be present in one of the future releases.

Or is there a workaround for this?

Unfortunately, there is currently no workaround.

Hello Adaxes Team I have just installed Adaxes version 2023.2. Unfortunately, it seems that the feature "Reason for execution of operation sent for approval" doesn't seem to have made it into this release.

It is the feature we miss the most. Is there any news about the ETA?

regards pudong

I have reviewed the the actual logs under logging and can see tasks that went off for approval, but when I select Approval Requests - I cannot find them under approved, ... I select All - Approved it shows me 1000 and that never grows beyond that number.

We have a scenario where an approval ticket is generated for a fairly complex task (re-approving user accounts if you remember the conversations we had a while back). ... my words) so we can replace the 'tech speak' with simple instructions. Many Thanks
