When we get a user from AD we want to perform some checks and display errors to the service desk staff. eg. if userprincipalname is not equal to a custom attribute show an error, if the user in is GroupA and custom attribute2 is not a specific value show an error. is this possible?

Hello,

What exactly do you mean by when we get a user from AD? Please, describe the desired workflow in all the possible details with live examples.

when a user is found in the web ui, we would like to run some validation to check the status of the user, and display this validation result to the service desk staff.

the easiest way I've found to do this is via some scheduled jobs which then populate virtual attributes - which will work for now.

Hello,

Thank you for clarifying. As an option, you can use custom commands. The following tutorial should be helpful: https://www.adaxes.com/help/CreateCustomCommand. Also, using reports might be something that will work for you.

User is trying to amend the account expiry date on another user account. User has done this many times in the past - only difference is this is a new OU. Adaxes service account has the necessary permissions to the OU so I can't see why this is happening
