Is there any way to add a warning message when someone tries to add a group member that already is member? Checked config but found nothing related.

Added a new member that is already on the group and there is no warning, and the logs show that the task was completed.

Hello,

Added a new member that is already on the group and there is no warning, and the logs show that the task was completed.

The behavior is by design. The operation is completed successfully in Adaxes, but there will be nothing done in AD itself as the account is already a member of the group.

Is there any way to add a warning message when someone tries to add a group member that already is member?

As a solution, you can use a business rule like below. It will cancel the operation in case the member being added is already in the group. image.png

Thanks for your answer. Implemented the business rule and it's working now.

I would like users to use Adaxes to add themselves or others to a group, but instead of it just working, it has to go thru an approval process and be approved by the group owner before they are added. Thanks!

Our Help Desk currently 'mirrors' the group membership of a new user based on another existing user in our AD. I'd like to be able to automate this so that the initiator ... and 'paste' it on the new user being created. Any help on this would be appreciated!

When setting up a rule based group, GMSA objects are not visible. Is there a setting or view I need to add to make these availabe to rule based groups, or is it simply not an option?
