Hi,

I recall reading in documentation that business rules will be triggered also if changes are made in AD MMC or powershell.

Right now the rules are triggered when changes are made in webinterface and in the AD part of the administration interface but not when a change is made outside of Adaxes but directly in AD.

Would this be by design? If so would there be any way to have business rules triggered in these cases?

Thanks

Hello,

This behavior is by design. There is no possibility to trigger a Business Rule on changes made outside of Adaxes.

Not the answer I was hoping for but thanks for the quick response.

Guess I will have to make sure all changes are done through the web interface.

Thanks!

Is it possible to send an email from Adaxes when certain AD objects are modified outside of Adaxes? With Business Rules it looks pretty easy to do that inside of Adaxes ... something changes on the object and the change was not initiated by Adaxes. Thank you.
