Hello,

When trying to add a smtp alias through the Adaxes webinterface, we receive the following error:

An Azure Active Directory call was made to keep object in sync between Azure Active Directory and Exchange Online. However, it failed. Detailed error message: Unable to update the specified properties for on-premises mastered Directory Sync objects or objects currently undergoing migration. DualWrite (Graph) RequestId: c0cad38a-f4be-4158-a615-457ab50f85b7 The issue may be transient and please retry a couple of minutes later. If issue persists, please see exception members for more information.

This was working before. We are using Exchange online. There is no error when adding the smtp alias (proxyaddress attribute) directly in AD.

Hello,

Unfortunately, this is currently a known issue, but there is no workaround in Adaxes. It is due to the changes made by Microsoft on their side. However, it is also possible that the issue is just temporary. As of now, you can just make the corresponding changes on-premises using native tools.
