user update by changing the discription

Update user information – we control the user role via the description of the AD user.

Now, when a trainee changes departments, we want to create an automatic process via Adaxes that adds various AD groups based on the selection of the description (this is only possible via a preselection) and also removes the old AD group assignments.

How could this look?

I imagined that there would be a button for changing departments (User Update), followed by the selection of the description. The old entry would be handled in a Before loop and the newly selected entry would then be handled in the After action loop.

Would that be possible?
