Good Day,

I would like to have deprovision users home directory renamed to include "disabled". Looking at the action items within Adaxes it only list "move/delete". Is it possible to use a powershell script? If so, how would I set this up?

Example:

John Doe - HomeDrive = \\file01\johndoe
After deprovision process would read \\file01\johndoe_disabled.

Running Adaxes 2013.1 on Windows 2008 R2 SP1.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Try the built-in Move the home directory action for this purpose. To add such an action to the Custom Command that you use for user deprovisioning:

  1. Launch Adaxes Administration Console.
  2. Locate the Custom Command that you use for user deprovisioning and select it.
  3. Select the set of actions and conditions that you want to add the action to and click the Add Action button.
    **- or -
    Click the
Add action to a new set** link.
  4. Select the Move the home directory action.
  5. In the Network path field, type the new path for the user's home directory. If you need to include username in the path, use the %username% value reference.
  6. Optionally, to reshare the home directory under a new name, in the New share name field, type the name, under which the user's home directory share should appear.
  7. Save the Custom Command.
