Adaxes Self Service Client leaving files on Terminal Servers

Good morning, I received the following information from one of our network admins regarding the implementation of the Adaxes Self Service Client on our Windows 2003 Citrix servers. Please let me know if this is a known issue, or if you need further clarification. We currently have this running on multiple environments, Windows 2003 and Windows 2008, and it's only manifested in our 2003 servers.

Since Adaxes Self Service password has been applied to the Windows 2003 Citrix servers UPHClean was been unable to remove IE index.dat files from the roaming profiles and an orphaned copy of profile (folder) is left on the server. As a result there are multiple folders being created under Document & Settings folder.

We are curious if this is something that can be addressed?

Hello,

It is a known issue, but not of Adaxes. The issue caused because the file is locked by ​winlogon.exe process. It has been raised on Microsoft's forums multiple times. For example, take a look at the following topic. The only workaround that is currently available is to use ​UPHClean v2​ that seems to be capable of handling the issue, however v2 is still on the beta stage, and there is no guarantee provided that it's going to function well.
