hello-

we use adaxes externally lets say on a laptop without issues. however, I am now testing on the ipad and when doing a search either via quick search or via tab, it displays loading with the turning hourglass. Any idea why?
Is there somewhere I can check on the server?

EDIt - this also happens on the iphone too w/o the hourglass. it refreshes quickly but nothing happens.

Thanks

Hello,

As far as we know, iOS includes Safari as the default web browser. There is a known compatibility issue between IIS and the latest versions of Safari. Try the solution provided in OSX Yosemite to fix the issue.

thanks, but that doesn't work.

I tested chrome on the iOS devices too, since that works via laptop/desktop, but same thing persist.

Hello,

The issue can persist because the IIS didn't recompile the Web interface site after you've made the fix, and thus the fix didn't apply. To apply it, you need to force IIS to completely recompile the site for the Web Interface. To do this:

  1. Start the Web Interface Customization tool.
  2. In the Interface type drop-down list, select the Web interface you are having issues with.
  3. Make any changes to the Web Interface. For example, enable or disable the home page.
  4. Click Apply. This will force IIS to recompile the web site.
  5. Undo the changes that you've made and click Apply again.

I did the below as it was stated in the link that you posted originally. thank you.

Is there a way to pass parameters to a script run through Adaxes? I tried placing it in the Script text box under Action Parameters as shown in the attached screenshot but it seems to completely ignore the parameter.
