The default is http://[mydomainname]/Adaxes/SelfService is there a way to change this?
example; http://[mydomainname]/passwordselfservice
or http://[mydomainname]/help
Hello John,
Yes, it is possible. You can remove the Adaxes part from the Web interface URL and change the name of the Web interface in the URL by renaming the Web interface. To do so:
Ok thats easy enough but now I get a 404 Error, do I have to change anything in IIS as well or reboot the server?
Please, clarify whether you followed the instructions in the following FAQ article: https://www.adaxes.com/questions/8940/can-i-remove-the-adaxes-part-from-web-interface-urls. If you did, you need to restart your IIS server after you made the changes in IIS. Should the issue persists after the IIS restart, please, specify all the steps you performed. Screenshots would be much appreciated.
Nice!Thank you!
We are replacing our Namescape rDirectory product with Adaxes because of the very flexible automation components. I've been able to replicate some of the pages previously ... vast majority of our users, that would function as the default company directory.
I am basically setting up the self service portal to only allow a user to reset thier own passwords.
We need to know specifically for self service password management what level of access in AD do I specifically need.
Changing the "Forgot your password?" text.
Where can I get training for Adaxes? Is there an instructor-led course on online self-paced class?
