Is it possible to add Exchange custom attributes to users self-service portal and allow users to edit/modify them?

Background, we're looking at setting up Office 365 email signature tool however need to give staff the ability to add additional information, for example preferred pronouns, title, LinkedIn url etc.... The informaiton would be stored in the Exchange custom attributes (on-premise) and then synched to the cloud and available to the Office 365 email signature solution.

Understand how to add the additional attributes to the self-service portal with custom labels. But unsure if we need to modify the Exchange custom attributes permissions to allow the user to update or if we can use a scheduled task using a service account to perform the updates. We would prefer not changing permissions if possible.

Hello,

For users to be able to manage Exchange custom attributes of their own accounts, do the following:

Unfortunately, there is no possibility to do that without granting users the corresponding permissions. Using a scheduled task is possible however it will not allow manual input by the user themselves for their own account. For example, the task can perform an import from a CSV file: https://www.adaxes.com/tutorials_ActiveDirectoryManagement_ScheduleImportOfUsersFromCSV.htm.

Thankyou, was able to test successfully. As the permissions are only applicable via Adaxes Self-Service and it doesn't change the attribute permissions within AD, we're comfortable with that.

Are we able to apply the property patterns to the fields in Self-Service, I added a Propety Pattern under User Pattern, using RegExp: ^[0-9X-]{5}[0-9X-]{5}[0-9X-]{5}[0-9X]{4}$ Changed the Hint & Help example: 1234-1234-1234-123X

But doesn't appear to be applied in Self-Service.

Hello,

Sorry for the confusion, but we are not sure what exactly you are trying to achieve. Please, describe the desired behaviour in all the possible details with live examples and screenshots. You can post screenshots here or send to us at support@adaxes.com.

Hi, I'm trying to add an custom command under Actions. While I'm able to add them under UI editor, it is not visible when a user logs into self-service portal. However, other default actions are visible when I toggle them in UI editor.
