Hi all,

We have Adaxes running in our environment. We don't have an on-prem Exchange environment, everything is in Exchange online.

Our existing distrubution groups all have the 'exchange properties' possibility however for new groups we create now the option is missing.

The groups are all Universal Distribution groups and in the AD attributes I don't see anything strange that is different between the existing and new groups. The groups are created in Exchange online and functioning.

Any advise on how to get the exchange properties back for newly created groups?

Kind regards, Eddy

Hello Eddy,

Do we understand correctly that the groups have all the corresponding Exchange attributes (e.g. proxyAddresses) populated in on-premises AD? If that is correct, make sure that the groups are included into the associated scope of your Microsoft 365 tenant in Adaxes. For information on how to check that, have a look at the following help article: https://www.adaxes.com/help/LookupTenantForUser. On step 5, select one of the groups the issue occurs for.

Hi,

Thanks for the response. The proxyaddresses is indeed populated. We have some groups that do have the 'exchange properties' in Adaxes and proxyaddresses is not populated for them

When I check the group as the link described it tells me 'Group mygroup@mydomain.com is associated with MyTenant'.

Kind regards, Eddy

Hello Eddy,

Thank you for the provided details. Do we understand correctly that you can see the Exchange Properties section for some groups and not for others in the very same Web interface while logged in with the same account?

For troubleshooting purposes, please, enable tracing of requests sent to Exchange servers, reproduce the issue and send us (support@adaxes.com) the log file. For information on how to enable the tracing, have a look at the following help article: https://www.adaxes.com/help/EnableExchangeRequestLogging.
