Hello - great to see a new update .

Can you let me know if it now natively supports Powershell version 3 ( for Lync 2013 support) ?

Hello,

No, the major release that will support at least PowerShell 3.0 is planned for the end of summer.

Hello,

I'm just curious for the new changes to the Self-Service client, does it require a re-install to factor in the recent changes in 2017.1?

0

Hello,

Yes, together with Adaxes version 2017.1 we've also released a new version of the Self-Service Client. You need to install the new version in order to use the new self-service features. You can download it here.

Hello,

We recommend to proceed from your requirements. Starting with tutorials that deal with the most urgent of your needs would be a good idea :)

Is it possible to reveal something about the changes/news in the end-of-summer edition, regarding the Web UI ?
After all, that's what meets our customers (users) and most requests/complaints is targeted around this subject.

Thanks

Hello,

New Web Interface engine

In the new version, the Web Interface will have a new look and feel. It will work faster and will be more adapted to mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets. The Web Interface configuration will be stored as a part of Adaxes service configuration, thus eliminating the need for a separate Web Interface backup.
Also, the Web Interface will have a RESTful API.

We can also send you mock-ups of the new Web Interface if required.

Hi

I would be more interested in new controls and/or improvements of exsisting controls.

For example, a dynamically filled dropdown list , a messagebox to notify the user, instead of using cancel an logmessage.

Thanks

Hello,

a dynamically filled dropdown list

It is a very popular request, it is in our Product Backlog.

a messagebox to notify the user, instead of using cancel an logmessage.

Could you provide an example of the scenario you mean?

Hi

"Boxx.dk wrote:

----

Example:

$Context.LogMessage("Du har spærret brugeren. Bemærk, at hvis brugeren er logget ind på diverse IT systemer, så vil brugeren stadig kunne arbejde i disse systemer, indtil brugeren logger af- eller smides af systemerne.", "Information")

Just a short notice to the user manager, after disabling a user.
Why should this message be stored in the log, instead of being shown in a messagebox ?

----

Okay - if a messagebox is not possible, then I would like more control of whats displayed in the "Details" box.
Adaxes displays IMO a lot of unnecessary technical information to the user in this Box.
You may laugh, but most of our non-technical users find these technical informations confusing and unnecessary.

- Thanks

Hello,

Why should this message be stored in the log, instead of being shown in a messagebox ?

Currently, there is no such possibility. However, thank you for the suggestion, we will consider it.

I would like more control of whats displayed in the "Details" box.

You can configure the Execution Log to be displayed only if it contains errors or warnings. To do so:

  1. Launch Adaxes Web Interface Customization Tool.
  2. Select the interface type and activate the AD Management tab.
  3. Select Only if it contains errors or warnings and click OK.

I think this started happening back in August when we updated to the current version (3.13.18.106.0). We are not sure though because this only affects the web page ... We would prefer not to allow access through a firewall for this. Screenshot of the error:

Hi, Looking to see if this is normal behaviour which can be adjusted. I re-created one of our Dynamic Groups as a Test, when accessing the Group in the Admin Web ... which members are updated, is this controlled by SQL or the Web Service. Best Regards Mark
