Do Dynamic Groups update members in the members area each time it's opened?

Hi,

Looking to see if this is normal behaviour which can be adjusted.

I re-created one of our Dynamic Groups as a Test, when accessing the Group in the Admin Web Page the members area of the group is updating on each visit.

It's a very large group with 15k members, is this a control which can be adjusted.

Can we reduce the time in which members are updated, is this controlled by SQL or the Web Service.

What exactly do you mean by Dynamic Group? Is it an Adaxes rule-based group?

What makes you thing that members are updated each time you view the group? Please, describe the behavior in all the possible details with live examples and screenshots. You can post them here or send to us at support@adaxes.com.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Yeah I am referring to an Adaxes Rule Based Group based on Rules.

When opening a Group the Members area takes some time to populate the objects in the group, this happens each time it is opened when there are thousands of members.

We are using SQL Lite for the Trial and there is around 45k object in AD.

Hello Mark,

Thank you for the provided details. The behavior is expected and is not related to a group being rule-based or the database used to store logs. Whenever you open an object in Adaxes, there is a request to AD to display the property values. It is the same no matter how many members a group has. You just notice it when the number is significant.
