We are in the process of upgrading from Adaxes 2014.1 to Adaxes 2018.2. As part of the upgrade we plan on moving from a Windows Server 2012 R2 VM to Windows Server 2016 VM. We have both a production and development domain that we have separate instances of Adaxes installed. Can we use the existing key files that we are using for our Adaxes 2014.1 deployments or will I need to get new key files for the Adaxes 2018.2 deployments?

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

It depends on whether your current license keys can be actually used with the latest version of Adaxes. If they do, you will just need to remove the keys from the computers where you currently have Adaxes installed and then activate them on the computers where you install Adaxes 2018.2.

You can check whether your current license keys can be used with the latest version using Adaxes Administration Console. For details, see https://www.adaxes.com/help/?HowDoI.Man ... dates.html. If the keys cannot be used with the latest version, please, contact our Sales Department at sales@softerra.com. They will assist you.
