Hello,

The installation of the Adaxes software fails on my network. I have tried the installation on Multiple member servers.

All the servers are Windows 2008 R2.
The domain and Forest level is Windows 2008 R2

Error: Failed to create application partitions on the backend server.
Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.

I tried installation using the Administrator account and also tried installing the software using a service account (domain admin). Both didn't work.

Hello Ronnie,

We didn't manage to reproduce such behavior in our testing environment.

In what format do you input the username during Adaxes installation? Can you try to install Adaxes under other credentials?

i tried both username@domain.local and domain\username

i did try 2 different account. Both admin.

Hello Ronnie,

Unfortunately, we didn't manage to reproduce similar behavior in our testing environment.

Please, have a look at the Event Log. Are there any errors or warnings related to the issue?

Also, try creating a new user with sufficient permissions to install Adaxes and try to install under the credentials of this user. See Grant Permissions to Publish Adaxes Service for permissions that a user requires to be able to install the Adaxes Service.

Hello I've broke my Adaxes setup after installing AD Certificate Authority Web Services (which use IIS too). I've uninstalled the service but issue is still there. Access to all ... do it since already installed. It's a Windows Server 2019 (Azure VM) Any idea?
