Hi there

When new users are created and the email is send out to the Administrator to Approve or deny, the link in the email takes you to the Web to Approve or deny.

The user is there, but there is no Approve or Deny button to click?

What do I need to change or check?

Regards
Wally

PS: Can I change the mail Subject to include the Username that needs to be Approved/Denied?

Hello,

When a user clicks a link in the email, the user is sent to a page in Adaxes Web Interface with information on the Approval Request and the Approve and Deny buttons at the bottom. There is also a field to specify the reason why the request was denied.

For information on how to customize the templates of emails that are initiated by Approval Requests, see Customizing Templates for E-mail Notifications, however currently you cannot insert information on the target object of the operation into these emails.

Hi there

The highlighted area in red (with approve, deny and comments) is not available on our page?

Hello,

The most probable reason is that the request has already been either approved or denied by someone else. Can you post a screenshot of the Approval Request as it appears in Adaxes Web Interface?

Hello,

To be able to approve or deny the Approval Request, a user must be in the list of its approvers. Can you check whether the user logged on to the Web Interface (Wallace, Henri) is an approver of this request? To do this:

  1. Login to Adaxes Administration Console with the credentials of an Adaxes Service Administrator. For more information on how to logon to the service with credentials of a specific account, see Change Account Used to Log On to Service.
  2. In the Console Tree, expand the service node that represents your service.
  3. Expand Configuration.
  4. Select the Approval Requests node.
  5. In the Result Pane, select All requests in the Show drop-down list.
  6. Select Pending in the Status drop-down list.
  7. Click the Apply Filter button.
  8. Right-click the request you need and select Properties.
  9. In the dialog box that appears, you will see the list of users who are authorized to approve the request in the Approvers section.

Currently, users from Azure AD domains cannot log in to Adaxes Web interface and cannot use password self-service to reset their forgotten passwords. Cause Feature is not yet implemented. Will be implemented in one of the future releases.
