We use templates in AD to create new users. I have used the copy user actions that are built in to Adaxes but it does 2 things that I would like to change.
- It does not copy group membership which I believe is handled in this post Copy of groups membership from one user to another
- It also copies all user info like User First and Last Name.

I would like it to be more like the copy function built into AD. Is this possible?

Actually it does, if you select the Copy group membership option.

It also copies all user info like User First and Last Name.

Yes, it copies all the fields from a template. If you don't want certain fields to be copied, clear their values in your template.
