Upgrading Adaxes

Is it OK to do a side by side upgrade of Adaxes? I have read the documentation on how to upgrade Adaxes but I was hoping to make the change with as little end user impact as possible. Currently I have a single server install of Adaxes. I would like to leave that server running and install a second server with the latest version and test the functionality. After I am confidant that everything is working I would then change DNS to the new server and remove the original server. Is there any issues with this method?

Hello,

Yes, it'll work. However I'd recommend you to install second instance of Adaxes service that will share configuration with the first one. Then upgrade the first instance and uninstall the second one. For details, see Upgrade a Multi-Server Configuration.

Upgrading minor version

We are running version 2018.1 - 3.9.15526.0 - and I want to upgrade the version to 3.9.15631.0 Is the correct procedure still to backup the configuration, uninstall Adaxes, ... ? Or is it possible to install the new version directly, and to a "soft" upgrade?

Has any progress been made on providing a report of who has access in Adaxes?

Our audits require us to provide a report of who has access in applications. Most applications provide a way to produce this access report. Can Adaxes add this feature?
