After installing our second Adaxes service and joining it to the configuration via shared configuration like the install guide said (https://www.adaxes.com/resources/InstNotes.htm#multi_server), I am attempting to connect to that service and get an error message. I don't see any other steps to perform in the guide and I didn't see this error mentioned elsewhere. The error is "None of the AD domains managed by Adaxes server 'adaxe01' has logon information provided. To provide logon information you need to connect to the services as a service administrator. Otherwise, you won't have permission to access the resources managed by this service. Would you like to proceed anyway?" I am an administrator and login just fine to our first node.

Hello Mark,

The thing is that the credentials of managed domains and Office 365 tenants are not replicated between instances of Adaxes service that share common configuration, you need to specify them manually for each new instance added to the configuration set. For information on how to specify the credentials for the domains, please, have a look at the following help article: https://www.adaxes.com/help/?HowDoI.ManageActiveDirectory.ManageDomains.ChangeManagedDomainLogonInfo.html. For information on how to specify the credentials for Office 365 tenants, please, have a look at the Register Office 365 Tenant section of the following tutorial: https://www.adaxes.com/tutorials_ActiveDirectoryManagement_ManageAndAutomateOffice365.htm#tenant.

Hello,

I can't change them from the new service. If I go to Active Directory, it says "There is no such object on the server."

If I select the service, it says "No permissions to view this object. You are authenticated as Guest since your domain (ad.test.com) is not managed by the service."

Hello Mark,

To see the domains and be able to provide their logon information, you should be logged on to the service using the credentials of the Adaxes service account (specified during the Adaxes service installation). For information on how to change the credentials used to log on to Adaxes service, please, have a look at the following help article: https://www.adaxes.com/help/?HowDoI.ManageService.ChangeServiceLogonAccount.html. Once done, provide logon information for the registered domains: https://www.adaxes.com/help/?HowDoI.ManageActiveDirectory.ManageDomains.ChangeManagedDomainLogonInfo.html.
