We turned on SSO using SAML logins via the Azure Active Directory to the Admin and Help Desk web portals in Adaxes. Common, Self Sevice, and a couple of other portals we created are still using the defaul username\password form login. Since changing the portals to SSO SAML, my session has not ended. I am not being made to re-authenticate after any idle time. At a minimum, I would like to see us having to reauthenticate at least once a day, but being kicked out after a couple hours of idle is preferred.

Is there a setting I am missing somewhere?

Adaxes version 3.12.17215.0

Thanks

Hello,

Have a look at the following help article: https://www.adaxes.com/help/?HowDoI.ConfigureWebUI.SessionIdleLifetime.html.

I saw that and understood it to be that the default is 30 minutes, so I did not make any changes, but I am not being made to login again.

I also set Sign-in session lifetime to 120 and that has not changed anything. If I lock my computer on Friday with my browser open and logged into Adaxes, when I return on Monday, I will not be required to reauthenticate.

Hello,

Thank you for clarifying. Unfortunately, there is no such possibility. If the browser remains open, you will not need to re-authenticate. If the browser gets closed, the user will be automatically signed out after the specified time period.
