Force English Only

Question

I want to verify these instructions are correct for removing French and German from the web interface. I have found the bin/de and bin/fr folders to remove but do not see any files with the extension of de.resx or fr.resx.

In the folder where the Web Interface is installed, delete the following: bin/de folder bin/fr folder all .de.resx files in all subfolders all .fr.resx files in all subfolders By default the Web Interface is installed in C:\Program Files\Softerra\Adaxes 3\Web Interface<Web Interface Type>

The instructions are valid only for Adaxes 2017.2 and older. Unfortunately, there is no possibility to disable a specific language for a specific Web Interface in Adaxes 2018.1 or later. However, the feature will be available in the next major release of Adaxes.

Is there any sort of work around or direction that I could use?

Because the logs come out in another language this is a problem for me. I can't report in 3 languages.

From the web interface you can remove language options. From other articles though it seems the browser detects the language to use.

Maybe forcing the browser to detect a language might be the answer.

Yes, that is correct. To disable a language to not be available in Adaxes Web Interface:

1. Open Adaxes Web interface configurator.
2. In the top left corner, select the Web interface you want to customize.
3. In the left navigation menu, click UI Texts.
4. Clear the checkboxes for the languages that should be disabled.
5. Save the changes.
6. Before checking the changes, clear browser cache and refresh the page using Ctrl+F5.
