HI i'm looking for a way to export the user details (first, last, start date, dept, mgr) once a user gets created so that it sends the details into a "tasking" sheet for our helpdesk team to work on for computer deployment.

  1. Is it possible to send those details directly into sharepoint or to excel online?
  2. If not, can i save them locally as a csv or xls with a custom command?

Hello,

The export can be automatically performed using a PowerShell script in a Business Rule triggering After creating a user or in a Scheduled Task that will affect only newly created accounts. Unfortunately, we were not able to find any documentation on importing data to SharePoint or Excel Online using PowerShell. If you face issues writing the script to perform the export to a CSV file locally, please, provide all the possible details regarding the desired workflow and the CSV file contents with live examples.

Also, to perform the export to a CSV file locally, after a user is created in Adaxes Web Interface, you can use the Export option in the top left corner when viewing properties of the user. image.png

The rule runs but since the first name and last name are passed as parameters, I only get the sequential # as a userID without the initials.

We have a process that when a new user is created they are emailed their username and apssword. If the user is in an Admin Group they are then sent an email with some PDFs ... you can send emails, but am unable to see where it could attach files to the email?
