Is it possible to customize the Active Directory quick search?

However, it doesn't tell me how to add or remove columns from being searched by the Quick Search.

I'd like to add EmployeeId.

Sorry for the confusion, but we are not sure what exactly you mean. Quick search does not have columns at all. It only outputs the objects matching search criteria. Please, describe the desired behaviour in all the possible details with live examples and screenshots. You can post the screenshots here or send them at support@adaxes.com.

So, in my case, I would like to search for a EmployeeId and have it bring up the User, which it currently does not do...

So, I guess a starting point is to find out which fields are being searched?

Thank you for clarifying. Unfortunately, there is no possibility to specify the attributes to be used by quick search. It is always performed over properties in the ANR set. If you want quick search to work with a certain property, you need to add the property to the ANR list: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/22653.active-directory-ambiguous-name-resolution.aspx#Attributes_in_ANR_Set.
