Hi,

I want to change the default UPN suffix for user creation. We only have a single UPN suffix we use at our organization however when we create a user using the web interface it automatically sets the suffix as @mycompany.local we want the suffix to be @mycompany.com.

How can we change this. We only ever want to use the @mycompany.com so a list of options isn't requried.

Hello Peter,

It can be easily done by updating your property patterns. The template for the UPN Logon Name property should end with the suffix you need. image.png The following tutorial should be helpful: https://www.adaxes.com/tutorials_SimplifyingDataEntry_ChangeTemplateForAutoGeneratingUsersFullName.htm. On step 2 of the guide, right-click the UPN Logon Name property.

Hello,

First of all, you can have your own property display names in Adaxes. For information on how to check/change them, see https://www.adaxes.com/help/CustomizePropertyDisplayNames.

As for the approach itself, if you are using Adaxes 2023, it will not work. For details, have a look at the following tutorial: https://www.adaxes.com/help/ConfigureUPNSuffixSelection. To check your Adaxes version, follow the steps from this article: https://www.adaxes.com/help/CheckServiceVersion.
