Rule-based membership fails for security enabled distribution group with error "The term 'Add-DistributionGroupMember' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again." image.png

So adaxes obviously know it is distribution group, but somehow forgets to connect to Exchange Online before running this PowerShell command.

Hello,

The issue occurs because the application used to register your Azure AD domain in Adaxes does not have the required permissions. For details on the permissions, have a look at the following help article: https://www.adaxes.com/help/RegisterAdaxesAsAppMicrosoftAzure. The easiest way is to follow the steps from section Add API permissions. Pay attention to the Admin consent part and assigning roles as well.

Hi, I need business rule that will forbid changing group membership type to rule-based for selected groups. Additionally I need PowerShell script for adding more groups to be watched by this rule. Thanks in advance!
