Web UI: restrict browsing to a business unit?

Question

we have created some business units which only return certain items in our directory.

when using the web ui, how do we restrict browing functions to only look in the business units that we have defined?

For example, we have a business unit which contains a number of groups and another business unit which contains a certain staff.

when modifying a group, the end user who is adding members to the group should only be able to see people who are members of the business unit, and no one else in the directory. However we dont seem to be able to limit the browsing to this business unit.

if this is not possible, how is it envisaged that these units are used?

As a solution, you can limit a Web interface to only display the objects that are members of a specific business unit. For details, have a look at section Change top level node of the following tutorial: https://www.adaxes.com/help/PreventUsersFromViewingTheStructure/#change-top-level-node. However, it can only be a single business unit.
