Hello,

We recently applied the 2023 upgrade following the backup / uninstall / install / restore procedure and we faced an issue: UUIDs for Business Units changed, which broke all our custom workflow arround identity automation.

Is there a way to upgrade Adaxes in the future that does not delete and recreate Business Units?

Cheers

Hello,

Thank you for the suggestion. We forwarded it to the corresponding department for consideration. As of now, you can use immutable identifiers that do not change during backup/restore. For details, have a look at the following article: https://adaxes.com/sdk/HowDoI.GetConfigObjectID.

Hi I know this isn't currently possible, but is the ability to use Adaxes custom attributes in a Business Unit Criteria something you are looking into? It would make the business units far more powerful and usable than they currently are. Thanks Matt

When creating custom commands you have to select the object type. What is the object type for a Business Unit? It doesn't seem to be OU or Container as I can not select ... execute my script against. I've been searching the site and can not find this detail.

Hello, Is it possible to grant members of a business unit permission to run a custom command? I know I'm able to give permission to a user/group to run a cmd on a business ... that can run the command. I've not been successful with any of my attempts to do so.
