Hello Support

We are working on a new username and email policy and we want to add a NEW alias to each user (9000) and make it primary. We also need to check if it is unique and if not add a random two digit to the email address. ex. Jay.Klinkowsky.91@local.com

Hello,

Could you specify whether you are using Exchange Online or Exchange on-premises?

Hello,

To achieve what you need, we recommend configuring Exchange Policies. A new alias will be created depending on the policy configuration and made primary. All the existing aliases will be kept. For details on how to configure Exchange Policies, have a look at the following article by Microsoft: https://technet.microsoft.com/ru-ru/lib ... .160).aspx.

It seems like at one point this may have been a unique action? I seem to only be able to create an AD group then mail enable it after. Is there any way to do it in a single action?

When I create a user, an O365 user with a different password is always created as well. However, I only want to create a local user and this should be synchronised with AD-Connect in O365. Otherwise we have a problem with the Hybrid Exchange.
