This FAQ https://www.adaxes.com/questions/1004/how-to-set-look-in-everywhere-in-the-look-in-textbox does not apply to current versions of adaxes. Is there any way I can set "Everywhere" as default in Adaxes 2023.2?

Hello,

Have a look at the following tutorial: https://www.adaxes.com/help/ControlObjectsDisplayedInWebInterface/.

Unfortunately this does not answer my question. I want to set the default "domain" in the "Look in" form to "Everywhere". None of the instructions on this help page lets me do that. Or am I missing someting?

Hello,

There are no such settings for the Browse option. At the same time, it is always set to start with the top level node according to user permissions. That is the part of the tutorial you can pay attention to.

I can only set a domain as top level node. Not "Everywhere". I want to preset "Everywhere" in the form when I view a group and add a Member.

In the "Add Members" popup, you have to manually choose a domain on the top right menu, or click on "Directory" to set it to everywhere.

Hello,

Thank you for clarifying. This is totally different from the point in the post you referenced. Unfortunately, there are currently no such settings. However, we have the feature in our TODO list.
