Sorry for the confusion, the Domain-DNS object type is absent in the version of Adaxes you are currently using. You need to select the Domain one. We also fixed the text in the repository article, thank you for pointing this out.
Occationally Service Desk staff need to clear a DNS record when a desktop has been reimaged but is keeping the same name as loses the ability to manage its original DNS ... running in ADAXES. Can I just install the applet on the ADAXES server using powershell?
Dear Support, is it possible to "manually" create an object of type "device"? We would like to sync devices (mobile devices enrolled in InTune) assigned to user in AAD to ... know that it can be syncronized by connected, but it's not done in our domain.
We created a Scheduled Task and chose our user organisational unit as the activity scope. Then we realized that only about 10 % of the users are object-type: user and 90 % object- ... s no option in adaxes. But there is one for the object type User. Why that ?
Whilst the Web UI's Custom Forms and Views for each Object Type is useful, it's also very limiting presentation-wise if we want different users, computers, ... user groups and ensure a tidier experience whilst enforcing ACLs on various attributes and objects.
We decommissioned several child domains in our multi-domain forest. How do we unregister those domains? The normal process throws an error about not being able to talk to the missing domain.
