Self Service Enrollment Email Address

Hello,

Similarly to how you can have a mobile number field on the Password Self Service enrollment page, is there any way you can have an alternate field such as personal email address on that page instead?

Since you can send verification codes to either SMS or Email, I'm hopeful this is possible. We want password self service verification codes to go to a personal email address that the user specifies and it would easier if it was on the enrollment page instead of having them edit a custom attribute after enrollment through regular self service.

Possible or no?

No, there is no such possibility.

We want password self service verification codes to go to a personal email address that the user specifies

You can use any property in the To filed when configuring email delivery of Verification Code (e.g. Adaxes custom text attribute). However, the enrollment page will only display the email property.

As a workaround, you can create a Scheduled Task that will check the property for enrolled users and send a notification if it is empty.

That makes it sound like the enrollment page WILL display an email attribute.

If you select email delivery, the enrollment page will display the email property. However, the property will be displayed only if it is empty in the account of the user. Otherwise, only Security Questions will be displayed.
