Allow group owners to manage groups in self service portal?

Hi Support,

We are looking into a way for providing the security group owners in AD to manage the group memberships in Adaxes via self service portal.

I did see a Q&A related to this, but the solution is from 2018. Is this still valid with Adaxes version 2023.2

What I am looking at is providing the ability for the security group owner to be able to manage group membership in Adaxes self service portal.

Any help with this is appreciated.

Hello,

First of all, you need to grant owners the permissions to manage membership of the groups they own: https://www.adaxes.com/help/GrantRightsToModifyGroupMembership. Once done, you need to configure the Web interface accordingly. For example, you can create Web interface actions that will allow users to add/remove members from the groups they own. I was able to get the functionality working. I am trying to add multiple OU's in criteria Or want to do an LDAP critera like the DN conatins "OU=Test"

Unfortunately, there is currently no such possibility. However, thank you for the suggestion. We forwarded it to the corresponding department for consideration.
