I did the same as you, except the (on-premises AD) part. But I don't get an email when I create a new group in this "SHARES" OU. I tested my smtp configuration, I get the mail. How does adaxes check for the changes ? When a new entry is created ? After a scan that it does every "x" minutes or hours ?

Hello,

Business rules trigger immediately upon the corresponding operation. As we understand, you created a group outside of Adaxes (e.g. via Active Directory Users and Computers). In this case, business rules never trigger. The behavior is by design and cannot be changed.

If you want to receive emails for all the groups created for a certain period no matter what tools were used, you can use a scheduled task like below: image.png
