Are charts supposed to be "clickable"? They are a nice overview but provide little value unless a user is able to drill-down into the charted information. Example - Number of users with expired passwords / without the drill-down feature the user is unable to take immediate action on this information.

This could very well be a configuration issue on our side as we've upgraded from 2016. Just getting clarification on the functionality here.

Thanks,
Dave

Hello Dave,

Yes, report charts are clickable. If you click a report chart or chart item and nothing happens, this can be caused by the following:

  1. The report linked to the report chart or chart item is disabled for the Web Interface you are using . For information on how to configure reports in Adaxes Web Interface, see https://www.adaxes.com/tutorials_WebInt ... erface.htm.
  2. The logged on user has no permissions to generate the report linked to the report chart or chart item. For information on how to grant the permissions, see https://www.adaxes.com/tutorials_Delega ... eports.htm.
  3. The report chart item is not configured to be clickable. This can be done for Bar and Pie chart items by linking to a specific report. When you click a chart item, the linked report will be automatically generated. You can specify a report for a chart item in the Linked report field.

For examples, have a look at the configuration of the built-in All Users report chart. Each item of the report chart is clickable and linked to a specific report.

Fantastic! We'll dig into this and see what's going on. Thanks!
