Running into an issue on a new test server...I cannot find recommended versions of Azure AD nor MSOL on the site. I downloaded the newest versions and I'm receiving the error below. Has anyone ran into this issue before?

Server 2012R2 X64 patched etc

Hello,

The thing is that recently Microsoft has upgraded the 64-bit version of the Azure AD Module. The new version of the module targets the .NET Framework 4.0 runtime, however Adaxes targets .NET Framework 2.0 runtime, which makes it impossible to load the new version of the Azure AD Module in Adaxes. We are planning to switch Adaxes to a higher .NET Framework runtime version in Adaxes 2015.1, but this can't be done that easily and requires a lot of work. Unfortunately, the licensing model of the Azure AD PowerShell Module doesn't allow us to re-distribute the old version of the module that worked well with Adaxes. Also, Microsoft has removed the old version from their web site.

We are currently trying to get Microsoft to upload the old version of the module to their web site or provide us an alternative solution. If you need to implement Office 365 management with Adaxes urgently, the only thing we can suggest is install the 32-bit version of Adaxes and the 32-bit version of the module (which hasn't been updated yet) until we somehow resolve this issue.

This really stinks...i can't install any of the 32bit installers on my 64bit machine...if anyone has a link to the older installers before this issue please PM me. This has really affected our environment and it sucks pretty bad.

Is there any update/workaround on this issue? I was hoping to demo this feature before our purchase of the software :(

Hello,

The only workarounds we can suggest for now is installing the 32-bit version of Adaxes and using it with the 32-bit version of the Azure AD module. If you have the previous 64-bit version of the module available, you can use it with Adaxes, it will work. Unfortunately, we cannot make the old version of the module available on our web site because of license restrictions imposed by Microsoft. We are working on the issue, but not much luck so far.

Hello,

Thanks for your contribution, we really appreciate it. We are have an e-mail conversation with Microsoft in order to have the old version of the module available on a Microsoft's web site officially. As soon as it will be made available officially, we'll publish a link here.
