Unable to Create Mailbox from the Web UI

Since updating from Adaxes 2020.1 to 2021.1 we are no longer able to create Mailboxes from within the web Ui with just an error this operation is not allowed in the web interface.

any ideas on how to enable this again? the security role for the admins is set to full control on all object trypes.

Hello,

Have a look at the following tutorial: https://www.adaxes.com/tutorials_WebInterfaceCustomization_DisallowCertainOperationsOnADObjects.htm. You need to enable the Create mailbox operation in the Web interface settings. image.png If this does not fix the issue, please, post here or send us (support@adaxes.com) a screenshot of the error you are facing. Any additional details will be much appreciated.

Hello,

As per our check, the issue occurred if the Move mailbox operation was disabled in the Web interface settings alongside having the Create mailbox operation enabled. The issue was fixed in Adaxes 2021.1 Update 3.

Could you add to the "todo-list" the ability to separate the logging locale from the UI locale?

Currently the log gets written in whatever language the user has in the web-UI. This makes no sense to me as an administrator (I don't even know some languages ... different names in different languages. Please make sure to include this in a future release!

Can I prevent select accounts with expired passwords from being able to change it in the web interface?

We have some accounts that we would like to prevent from changing their password on login when it is expired. This is because we have saml setup on individual interface pages ... of a loophole for us as we require dual factor and use saml to accomplish this.

How to have 2 Factor authentication ON or restrict the access to Web Configurator from internal network only ?

We know only service administrators by default are allowed to access the web configurator, however is there any way to restrict that the the web configurator is only available on ... ON 2FA on Web configurator website, like we can on other web interfaces ?
