Hello Matthias,

Sorry for the confusion, but we are not sure what exactly you mean. Adaxes components can only be installed on Windows OS. How exactly did you perform the installation of the Administration console?

Hello,

on the MacBook I have a Virtual Machine with Windows 11. There I´ve installed the Administration Console. The installation was successfull without problems, but when I try to start Adaxes it results in a crash.

Hello Matthias,

Thank you for clarifying. For troubleshooting purposes, please, specify the following:

  • The build number of Windows OS you have on the virtual machine.
  • The version of Adaxes you installed. You can check it in the list of installed programs.
  • The versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable applications. image.png

Hello Matthias,

It looks like the issue occurs because some files used by Adaxes Administration console were corrupted or deleted. To remedy the issue, try running Repair for Softerra Adaxes from Windows Programs and Features.

Hello, I tried the repair option, but the problem still exists. These are the installed Visual C++ versions:

Hello Matthias,

According to the screenshot, the version of Microsoft Visual C++ you have is not the latest one. Please, try upgrading the components and check whether the issue persists.

Hello,

after installing the latest version of C++ everything works fine. Thx for your support!

Adaxes was uninstalled by one of our techs while trying to troubleshoot the Adaxes service not starting. Unfortunately, we had not yet taken a backup using the service back ... back up? Is there a specific location the configuration files are stored? Thanks.

Our audits require us to provide a report of who has access in applications. Most applications provide a way to produce this access report. Can Adaxes add this feature?
