We are setting up a dashboard for management end users to create distribution lists without IT assistance. We keep receiving the following error.

The issue occurs because the value of the Managed By property is invalid. It is a DN syntax property and can contain only the distinguished name (DN) of an object. Most probably, you have %initiator% value reference specified as the default value for the property in the Predefined Fields of the action. If you want to set the user that is creating a group using the action in the Managed By property, you need to use the %adm-InitiatorDN% value reference. To do so:

1. Launch Adaxes Web Interface Customization tool.
2. Select the interface type and click Configure Home Page Actions on the General tab.
   
3. Select the Create Distribution Group action and click Edit below.
   
4. Activate the Form Customization tab.
5. Select the Managed By property in the predefined fields list and click Edit below.
   
6. In the default value field, enter %adm-InitiatorDN% and click OK four times.
   
7. Before checking the changes in the Web Interface, you need to sign out/sign in.
