Problem getting phonenumber to show up in webform

Hi!

What am I missing, we are running 2018.2, we've edited a webform using web interface configurator. I've added the telephone field in section general under Management heading (Forms and Views) - but it doesnt show up when editing a user in the webinterface, I've added it to both modify tab and create tab.

Any hints what I'm doing wrong?

Hello Kaj,

The thing is that when viewing a user account, Adaxes Web Interface uses the settings of the View form. The forms for user creation, editing and viewing are different and should be modified separately. To see the telephoneNumber property in the corresponding section when viewing a user account, you need to add the property to the View form the same way you did for the Create and Modify forms.

Sorry - wasnt perhaps clear - I'm not so much interested in viewing the phonenumber but to be able to edit it and register it during user creation.

If you want the property to be present on the form during user creation, you need to add it in the Create tab for User object type in Adaxes Web Interface Configurator. After that, you need to refresh the Web Interface page using Ctrl+F5 to see the changes.

If the property still does not appear, please, post here or send us (support[at]adaxes.com) screenshots of the form you customized in Adaxes Web Interface Configurator and how the form looks in Adaxes Web Interface when you try to create a user account.
