Is it possible to sort a dropdown-field in the portal? The field is populated by a script

I have a dropdown-field on the web surface, which is populated by a script. The script looks up all groups in a specific OU and displays them. In the Property Pattern ... random order. What should i do to show the groups in alphabetical order in the portal?

Is there an option to set a default sort order of the results of a query in the web interface? For example, if I want to allow someone to select from a list of groups, ... user can click on the column to sort, but I would like to control the initial results.

Columns - being able to choose attributes to sort on?

Are there any plans to add the ability to select columns to sort results? i.e. when I look in my "Users" OU it would be really handy to be able to sort by job title or department or any other AD attribute. Running 2013.2.

How can I get this to trigger properly when a new user is created by script?

The rule runs but since the first name and last name are passed as parameters, I only get the sequential # as a userID without the initials.
