Hello Derek,

When a license with access to Exchange Online is assigned to a user, Adaxes can automatically create remote mailboxes. For configuration details, have a look at the following help article: https://www.adaxes.com/help/?HowDoI.PerformExchangeTasks.ConfigureEnablingDisablingOfRemoteMailboxes.html.

Hello Derek,

In Adaxes, there is no need to use scripts to create remote mailboxes. All you need to do is configure it to automatically enable remote mailboxes when a Microsoft 365 license with access to Exchange Online is assigned to a user. The feature is enabled by default and you just need to specify a remote routing address template in Exchange or do it in Adaxes specifically for your Microsoft 365 tenant as described in section Changing Remote Routing Address Template of the article we referenced.

Hello Derek,

The settings are correct. To check remote mailboxes creation, assign a Microsoft 365 license with access to Exchange Online to a user and check whether they get a remote mailbox. If they do not, please, send us (support[at]adaxes.com) a copy of the Adaxes Event Log. For information on how to view the log, have a look at the following help article: http://www.adaxes.com/help/?ServiceAdministration.ServiceEventLog.html.

Hello Derek,

The second screenshot is for an on-premises Exchange mailbox, not for a remote one. In case of remote mailboxes, the data should be exactly as in the first screenshot. Please, provide us with all the steps you take to create a remote mailbox with screenshots. You can post screenshots here or send them to us (support[at]adaxes.com).
