We are unsure how to troubleshoot this error. It happens after a new user is created and then we modify the properties. The code is customized powershell running using a service account using the "run as" feature. To rule out permissions, I made the service account a full adaxes admin but still the same error. Any ideas where we could start to troubleshoot?

Hello Mark,

Do we understand correctly that the error occurs when a PowerShell script is executed in a business rule triggering After creating a user?

For troubleshooting purposes, please, do the following:

  • Post here or send us (support@adaxes.com) in TXT format the script you have.
  • Post here or send us a screenshot of the error message.
  • Post here or send us a screenshot of the business rule executing the script.

Any additional details will be much appreciated.

No it is not a business rule, the powershell has a lot of different things in it and it creates the user account using exchange commandlets and then modifies the user properties using "set-admuser" with parameters. I will send the script to the support email.

Here is the error we are getting when the set-admuser command is executed. image.png

Is it possible to have custom command that doesn't execute on a specific (or any) AD object? I realize Adaxes is for AD management, but I was wondering if it would be ... to execute against and AD object, I just need it to talk to the SQL server. Thanks
