Enable account

Enables a user or computer account.

POST ~/api/directoryObjects/account/enable

If you need to enable an account and also modify its properties, it is recommended to perform both operations within a single Modify directory object request.

Request parameters

This request has no parameters.

  • Specify the security token obtained during authentication.

  • Use application/json as the value of this header.

Request body

The request body is a JSON object with the following data structure:

directoryObject string

The identifier of the account to enable. You can use:

 Distinguished name (DN)

 Globally unique identifier (GUID)

 Security identifier (SID)

Responses

If successful, returns 200 OK status code and an operation result in the response body. Otherwise, returns one of the common HTTP error codes and an error description in the response body.
