Add/remove service administrators

Service administrators have unrestricted permissions in Adaxes i.e. they can view/edit any object in any managed domain and modify all aspects of Adaxes configuration regardless of the security roles assigned to them. Out of the box, only Adaxes service account is present in the list of service administrators, and this account cannot be removed.

To add or remove service administrators:

1. Launch Adaxes Administration console.

   • On the computer where Adaxes Administration console is installed, open Windows Start menu.

   • Click Adaxes Administration Console.

     

2. In the Console Tree, right-click the Adaxes service, for which you want to add or remove administrators (the icon represents service nodes).

3. In the context menu, click Properties.

4. Activate the Administrators tab.

5. Customize the list of service administrators.
