Grant permissions to edit service log settings

To create a security role that will grant users the permissions to edit settings of the service log:

1. Launch Adaxes Administration console.

   • On the computer where Adaxes Administration console is installed, open Windows Start menu.

   • Click Adaxes Administration Console.

     

2. In the Console Tree, expand the Adaxes service node (the icon represents service nodes).

3. Expand Configuration.

4. Right-click Security Roles.

5. In the context menu, navigate to New and click Security Role.

6. On the Permissions step, click Add.

7. Check Only selected object types.

8. Check Show all object types.

9. Check the Service Log checkbox.

10. In the General permissions list, check the Write All Properties permission in the Allow column.

11. Click OK and then click Next.

12. On the Assignments step, click Add.

13. In the wizard that opens, select the users and groups whom you want to assign the permissions to.

14. Click Finish.

    If the Finish button is disabled, click Next, then select Configuration Objects.

15. Click Finish.
