Disable Web interface components
Adaxes Web interface can be used to handle various tasks related to Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID administration, user account management, and self-service. Administrators need a feature-rich interface to deal with the full range of tasks. At the same time, Help Desk operators need a simple and clear interface to perform user account support. Regular users require an even simpler environment for self-service activities.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to simplify the Web interface by disabling the following components:
- Home page
- Directory search
- Reports
- Browsing
- Directory object paths
- Favorites
- Basket
- Approvals
- Password self-service
- Adaxes notifications
- My menu
-
Open Adaxes Web interface configurator.
How

On the computer where Web interface configurator is installed, open Windows Start menu.
-

Enter a name for the new security role and click Next.
