Specify property for object display names
By default, Adaxes Web interface gets object display names from their distinguished names (DNs). For example, the DN of a user contains their Full Name, which is used as the display name. To configure the Web interface to get object display names from a specific property:

Open Adaxes Web interface configurator.

On the computer, where Adaxes Web interface configurator is installed, open Windows Start menu.

Type Adaxes Web interface configurator.

Press Enter.

In the top left corner, select the Web interface you want to customize.

In the left navigation menu, click Advanced.
If the left navigation menu is not displayed, click the icon in the top left corner.

In the Advanced section, select Properties to get object names from in the drop-down list.

Specify the property to get object display names from.
If you specify multiple properties, they will be used in the order of priority: if the first property is not specified for an object, the second property is used, and so on. If neither of the properties is specified for an object, the display name is obtained from the distinguished name (DN).

Save the changes.
To apply the changes to other Web interfaces, click the down arrow button next to the parameter value and then click Apply to other Web interfaces.
